About GRIT Gallery

GRIT Gallery is an immersive art gallery in Newburgh, NY that serves to enhance the character of the City for residents, visitors, and tourists alike by providing a platform for emerging and established artists to gain visibility.

We promote new talent through exhibitions and by sharing the stories behind individual pieces, promoting creative opportunity for regional artists of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Located in a reimagined historic building on Broadway, GRIT features an industrial-chic design with exposed brick elements, but also plenty of clean white space, allowing showcases to play between elegant or rustic gallery displays. One of our most notable design features is our floor-to-ceiling glass wall facing Broadway, acting as a portal that invites passersby to step into our welcoming space and take in the stunning works featured in our main gallery. GRIT also hosts events, such as workshops and lectures, to create an engaging and interactive experience.

GRIT Gallery is located at 115 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550
